DIBS stands for Digital Indirect Bonding System. It is computer-assisted orthodontic technology that custom creates the brackets to fit your teeth. More importantly, the brackets are part of an insertable tray that aids the orthodontist in applying multiple brackets simultaneously.
Imagine a clear plastic retainer-type tray 3D-printed from an imprint taken of your teeth. Attached to each of the imprints of your teeth in the tray is a bracket.
